[HSF] Reclacitrant sternal bleeding

that is for sure. I also close the sternum using figure of 8. one in the
manubrium and 3 in the body of the sternum. it seems to stabilize the
sternal reunion in a magnificent way. 
I also use surgical as a buttress beneath both halves of the sternum before
closure, in cases of bleeding sites. inserting figure of 8 polyfilamentous
sutures around the bleeding hole in the sternum works many times. however
Ethibond figure of 8 seems to be more effective.
