Thank you for this really good news. I did a quick search and found the
source you mentioned. I am not clear which Cell journal Google shows quite a
few of those do you have any idea? Thanks

Sorry to all lurkers that wait for the pearl of surgery that you can
recognize. A report from Toronto found that diabetes in mice may resolved
with chili pepper which destroys the sensory nerves of the pancreas. Thus
diabetes may be due to "stress" on the pancreas and may be a neural disease.
My wife found this in that great medical journal the "National Post"
(anticipating the journal "Cell" release). Forget EBM and anecdotes, if you
want information to change medical practice forever, read politics or
anything but surgical journals, which are the history of medicine.
