That was what was told to me by the Jews there. In fact I never even
heard of Aliyah before a Kochi Jew told me that. Jews never had a
problem of persecution in India.In fact the Jewish Synagogue there is a
big attraction and is displayed with pride . I don't want to get into
any controversies as it just doesn't bother me or concern me but the
quotes were just for emphasis. You were reading too much in between the
lines !! That was being aggressive on a non-issue.
