Dear Roberto
Interesting enough. We used the same technique, yet we wrapped the graft by
the native aorta that was closed around the de-novo prosthetic blood
pre-clotted cooked graft, yet it did not work ..!! ..
end of 1989 .... I was assisting mark E. Lambert in my first exposure to
Aortic Abdominal aneurysm ... ABG ... I thought that it will be a heck of an
operation -see Hal, I'm learning your Arkansas language style !- ........
bleeding everywhere ..... to my surprise,.. the needle holes were not
bleeding at all .... even at areas where the graft had to match the native
aortic diameter ... no weeping ... no hassle ... a new invention that made
life easy ... all other theories of single / double velour assisting fixing
neo-intima formation ... just gone with the wind ...
I'd be very much interested in your slides .... you can send them to me
directly and I'll post them. still I prefer single framed pics to "panoramic
views" ....
my email is nfaabouseada at gmail.com
incidentally .... 1981 ??? ..... I took it that you are much younger than
that ..!! .. rumors in the city .. !!
Happy new year ..
