I am glad it turned out well for the patient. About two years ago I posted a
problem with persistent hypokalemia in spite of good hemodialysis. We could
not determine the cause and this happened in a number of patients over the
course of few years in  a few and far in between cases.

Now perhaps we can add Heparin as a possible cause. Any additional thought
on this We have not had a similar problem for over a year now. I hope it
stays that way.
