Ben,
  I'm glad you finally disclosed that you are consultant for  Bayer.  I knew 
you had lots of publications about aprotinin.   Obviously, you, Ani, and 
others fervently believe this is a great, safe, drug  that only does what it is 
supposed to do (stop bleeding).  However, that is  not my experience at the doses 
I've used.  Mounting literature  describing a higher incidence of ATN has 
also been my perception.  I can't  say that I've noted more graft closure, MI, or 
strokes, but the renal failure is  real.
