[HSF] (OT) Drug Eluting Stents of the market?

Although I usually refuse to watch MSNB, I will admit to following almost any seemingly ridiculous argument to see where it leads. Are you implying that malpractice lawyers serve critical and beneficial functions in our health care system? And if so, how do they help our surgical patients?

I came across this on MSNBC news today. Here are few excerpts from the
article...
"Millions of Americans could be walking around with tiny time bombs in
their hearts."
"Already, many cardiologists are cutting back from using the devices.
Sales are dropping dramatically. The FDA panel may well recommend they
not be used at all."
"DES manufacturers Boston Scientific and Johnson & Johnson could end up
rivaling Vioxx maker Merck as targets of lawsuits from people who suffer
heart attacks."
Let's see if this changes our cardiologists mind.
