Hal, what if the patients signs a statement that he knows that Aprotinin
is going to be used and is aware of the risks and consequences (and
benefits) of using it.
Coincidentally we also have to factor in that every transfusion unit
enhances total morbidity and mortality by 7 % according to the data from
Cleveland clinic.
