OK .... well ....
Dear Michael ..... no wonder the difference in the incidence per valve
brand is dependent on the type of valve commonly more in use .... probably
those who have got the experience with St Jude do implant more St Jude than
any other valve prosthesis ..... may be we do have a greater incidence of
omni valves implanted ... and subsequently more incidence of pannus per
brand ...!! ...
However ......... IMH experience ...... the numbers go in favour of Omni
having the greater incidence ........ St Jude the least .... hardly at all
.......
still .... no RCT .... just anecdotal experience ... personally biased ... !
