[HSF] Current Requirements for the ABTS

Prasanna,
  My hat's off to you being able to teach perfusion.  I have to  admit that a 
lot of  the perfusionists equipment is, to me, a black  box.
  The ABTS exam in 1990 lasted about 1.5 hrs and consisted of going  room to 
room in a Chicago hotel.  In each room were 2 examiners who gave  you a series 
of cases.  A lot of them had accompanying charts or  slides.  You told how to 
manage the case.  One guy from Duke was a bit  of an a--hole, but what would 
you expect?  Overall, they were decent or  even nice (Dr. Griepp).  They only 
gave you a pass/fail.  I  passed.
