Knotted wood ..??? ....... you mean something like Arabesque ..??? ..
Wooww .... I must come and visit you ....
I have a crafted wooden engraved little dragon .... with a twisted tail
..... that was given to my late father from W. Oberoi ... I'm still keeping
it .... very much adoring it .... a master piece of Handicraft ...... all
the art of India ..... I saw the statue of the same Dragon on many movies
.... apparently it is very famous symbol in India ..!!! ..

It seems that India is always on top when we speak of arts and handicraft
..... remembering when In Saudi Arabia .... I was too much fascinated by
intermingled Camels .... made of wood .... they can "open and relax" and
close again ...the way a vascular stent would do .... engraved from a single
solid piece of wood .... I found out that a certain Pakistani tribe is
specializing in making this type of things .... the problem was to carry the
collection back home ... "I got 3 sizes .... 6, 8 and 12 Camels" ....

Still .... I have found a beautiful small metal vase ... on a small antique
shop in Blackpool ... the engraved surface is magnificent .... with minute
coloured details .... all engraved ... not stuck on surface ... hard to
imagine spending so much time in hand making such a nice artistic piece ....

another reason ... why I do appreciate becoming a heart Surgeon ..... could
appreciate handicraft .... "cause? or result ?" ...
