your experience and observations exactly matches mine. Horrible situation.
all suture lines bleeding ... remembering wrapping the native aorta around
the graft to prevent "percolation" of blood from the graft, .... in vain
.... patient would die slowly in CSICU
First time to assist in an AAA with a Hemashield graft, in Blackpool with
Mark E. Lambert .... 1989, was very surprised to find out that the needle
holes do not bleed anymore ... and that the replacement was as easy as
suturing the graft .... can not imagine doing such operations without such
grafts ....
