Roberto,
  I'd have to see the films and review the pt's data and examine her  before 
being able to answer that question.  If I thought there was any  evidence of 
ischemia, I would have proceeded there and then.  However, if  the patient was 
well-perfused, pain free, making urine with an OK EKG, then I  might keep her 
on heparin and do her later that morning.  Obviously, your  approach can't be 
criticized.
  As for the operation, I would have done exactly as you did.
