Urgent or elective if already several days old, Cabg. I would do "both" vessels. One can declare anything an emergency and I have seen it often usually be y the same doctors over and over.

Just to consider: 85 years old lady, with LAD stenosis, in a city near
Leipzig. She didn´t accept surgery (MIDCAB), and was stented. She got a
dissection of the left main and a good stent in the LAD. Was sent to us for
emergency surgery, which she then accepted. Stable haemodinamically, I did
LIMA-LAD and vein to obtuse marginal, all went OK.
My question is if some member would have left the patient for tomorrow or
even avoided the operation, as she was stable, is an old lady, and the
dissection seemed to be have been stabilized. The second question, for Don
Ross is if he would have done only a LIMA-LAD for the left main dissection.
All these are theoretical intellectual discussions, as she is already
operated at 01.00

Tea,
Let's put it this way. Did you ever see an anesthesia resident get cut
and end up a surgeon?
Hal
