Jon that is great news. I was booted off the list over a year ago because the oregon clinic server kept sending rejection of messages notices to the list. I am hoping this can work. Chuck douville md

Subject: [HSF] update from OHL manager
Dear List,
I not 100% clear what the spurious message about your account that
was posted to many of you in recent days.. I am still researching the
logs.
I have manually checked everyone's account and turned ON ALL accounts
the system may have turned off due to excessive bouncing or for any
other reason. Some of the reasons for being turned off are as follows:
1. your system rejects the posts - this threshold is set pretty high
- x messages over a 3 week period before the system automatically
stops sending to you.
2. your mailbox is full - again we test x messages over a 2 week period.
3. your system rejects our posts as they consider it spam. - again we
test x messages over 2 week period
and last but not least it seems that any of the countries the US
government does not feel we should send to: address that end with .cu
(cuba), .ir (iran), and so on.. According to the US Goverment website
this list should be OK for doctors from those countries to
participate in discussions.. as we are not "working" for them..
Regardless mail seems to be blocked from USA to them. If you know of
doctors in these areas that wish to be members or have been members
and no longer receive posts, please suggest that they get a .gmail
account..
If anyone has a problem with the list - please email me at this
address or my private address: Jon AT JonGolden.com
thanks,
Jon
