Poor mathematical skills leads to an inability to determine the magnitude of association between phenomenon. Reliance on mathematical skills leads to the inability to see that math only measures an association but does not determine it.

How much mathematics biology students should study?
  In india after class 10 [ class11 and 12]biology students  do not   study mathematics in majority of the states.
  There was a debate that present day doctors and reserchers in biological sciences are handicapped with limited mathematics bacground.
