[HSF] Do you believe in miracles?

I hope that you the members would allow me to post this one. It fits with
the title of "Do you believe in miracles?" but it is not of the same thread.
About a year ago or so I posted a very a dreaded complication of
quadriplegia following a routine uneventful CABG that I never had before.
The man had pontine hemorrhage or infarct I can't remember the whole thing
(memory is failing).He spent a little over eight weeks with us and then to
rehab center. About three weeks ago he walked into the clinic fully
recovered walks and talks with no residuals, pretty amazing I thought and
felt like sharing this with you.

Our sympathies for you in a tougher than average cardiac surgical  
experience. You will have been through serious cognitive dissonance. Obliged
to  do what 
you know is useless, wasteful, harmful for every one involved and yet  
obliged  by your code to persist as the consequence of what can  only be
described 
as selfishly perverse human behaviour.
