Saphenous vein is much like CPB. Under rigorous analysis they may not always be specifically the best, but they are certainly among the most versatile tools we have.

Vein is safer. IMA is mostly OK. Depending on where the target vessel is.
Cardiologists tend to think DES is better, but I doubt in especially
multivessel disease.
