Not me. Actually I learned to anastomoses doing primary arteriovenous fistulae, about 100 as matter of fact. Learned to coronaries both on and off pump on humans.

How many of the members of the forum have practice opcab in animals before
human opcab surgery?
This is the real problem.
We have no time to go a step down and then two or three up.
We, like surgeons we are, have the "superbia anima" and are reluctant to
make some animal practice.
If ALL of the cardiovascular surgeons perform a hundred of opcab-animal
anastomosis I`m sure that this controversy of opcab vs oncab will
dissappear.
The two methods of revascularization are excellent when performed in an
excellent way.
Complete-adecuate revascularization.
No ischaemia.
No patience, but precise and good bites of tissue.
The learning curve MUST be performed in animals as a first time.
Pigs, dogs, sheeps, mother in law, every kind of animal you can or wish to
make some practice with the specific guidelines of animal humanitary care.
Returning to the question.
How many surgeons of the forum have some practice in animal-opcab?
