Ben,
in Leipzig one of our Surgeons (Thomas Walther )has done 30 cases via
transapical with 3 deaths. He also assists the cardiologists to put them
transfemoral.
The new number (January 2007) of Eur Jour Cardioth Surg  is dedicated fully
to this technique and he writes there his experience.
