As I said before, it is for "nonoperative" candidates, so it should be "compared" to the 50% two year nonoperative mortality and 10% sudden death for those not opearted. It would be "biased" to use those that we surgeons "get" to see as "controls".

What on earth is the indication for this procedure.
I am sure you have equally excellent results with AVR, in really
awful cases, as the rest of us.
Mortality is ~2% so how can a surgeon accept 10%?
