Hal
I had a 11 cm aortic root Marfan case presented with back pain ( I found it
was due to eroding spine!!!) 7 years ago. This was my biggest. It really
extended from sternum to spine, also aneurysmal upto arch with severe AR and
dilated LV. I performed aortic root remodeling plus total arch replacement
to this patient. It was turned out to be chronic dissection (DeBakey type
II) with tricuspid aortic valve.
Hal, now you know I am not only doing OPCAB but doing other tough cases!
By the way, this is a true story (not a lie)!
