[HSF] Antiphospholipid Syndrome

Dear Tohru,
  Surprisingly, the patient has no signs of right heart failure.   
Specifically, I didn't see any evidence of SVC syndrome, ascites, or pedal  edema.  The 
PA pressures weren't elevated by echo.  There was only  mild TR and no 
evidence of RV strain by echo.  He's had no problems with  oxygenation.  I haven't 
done a VQ scan as yet.  
  Watch and wait with Coumadin is one reasonable approach.  I  still haven't 
decided.
