[HSF] Amiodarone, ARDS, and the Pump

Hal, it is a described entity but the incidence is low. I also use it 
more often than Lidocaine. A few years back I had actually posted this 
as a problem that I faced on HSF and when I went over the literature  
the key was to stop Amiadorone if recognized - falling pO2 , fluffy 
shadows on XRay. BAL etc can be done but it is better to be safe and 
stop it rapidly rather than sorry. The first case of mine died because 
of late recognition but the others that have had it have recovered.
