Naseri,
    How do you dilute the papaverin to bring the PH to near normal?   Do you actually measure the PH or just empirically dilute with equal amounts?

I always use intraluminal papaverin  ( diluted to  bring the PH near to normal) for lima .My observation is that if there is no trauma during the harvest certainly there is no problem in injecting th e papa into the lumen. All cases with dissection of lima  during intraluminal injection were those with previous trauma to lima during the harvest.Also before cross clamping I transect the distal lima and let it bleed for 1 minute into a bowl .If more than 100 cc then Ok,50-100 reobserve before anastomosis  of the vessel,<50 cc put lima to a diagonal.I use the blood in the bowl for vein dilatation.
 we are  planning to  buy a TTFM and then our CABg cases will be much funn ( at least for me)
