Dear Bob ...
that is grave !!! .... is that effect along the edge of the leaflet related
to the degree of opening of the leaflets ?? ....... does the design of the
hinge complex affect the degree of opening of the leaflet ??? ..... I mean
.. would such effects be different on a leaflet that open to 80 degrees vs a
leaflet thet open to 70 degrees ??? ...... and how would that degree of
opening, as a function / affected by heart rate ... or rate of opening of
leaflets in a minute, be affected by the design of the hinge complex ???
...... ....
Thank you for your very informative scientific comments
