Ani,
almost all of our CABG male patients are heavy smokers( and almost all female patients Type II DM) and it is not unusual to see preop PO2 around 50 mmHg.If such a patient has a value close to that in the ICU I won't worry, otherwise I will take measures to improve ABG.
