Jay,
  I agree with you that the trial lawyers industry is a horrible  entity.  
I'm certainly not rejoicing in the looming threats against the  doctors and 
corporations involved with DES.  First and foremost, I  know that I will be 
dragged into cases even though I won't be the target.   Getting deposed, etc is 
nothing but uncompensated time away from my  practice.  Unfortunately, however, 
this threat may be the only thing that  can finally convince interventionalists 
to objectively do what is best for the  patient.  The case cited earlier today 
in which the cardiologist stented an  RCA in the presence of significant LM 
dz is a prime example.
