 Dear all members:

A 76 male had CABG ( acbX6) 3 years. He had acute renal failure and pulmonary failure, and infection post-op. And have re-wire of the sternum and CRRT for abour 3 month then make urine 2000cc/day, and a full recovery. He has been doing fine for about two and half years.

He come to hospital with sob and bad apitite. Blood test shows that his criatnin is 750 and BUN about 30. But he is still make urine about 1800-2000cc per day with normal K+ level. His general condition is oK now and can walk around in the floor. It seems he has renal failure.

Should we put him on hemodylisis , for it is so hard to find a vein for IV. Or abdominal ?

any comments?

THanks in advance.

steve
