Dear All, Tomorrow I will do a MVR in a 25 y/o woman who is planning to have ababy.She is living in a big city and had heard of earlier degeneration of bioprosthesis and insisted on having a mechanical valve.I, in my part insisted that I won't operate her unless she accepts a pericardial valve.Now the question :am I right or pushing too far? erdinc >
