There are many rare birds around, just diluted sometimes with those who
have
yet to be mentored. But I've always worked around and with nurses who
provide what is needed to get our patients back to optimal functioning. What
really
helps a lot is partnering with our physician colleagues in a mutually
respectful way to achieve the best outcomes.
Sharing knowledge back and forth and respecting the unique contributions of
each goes a long way to having positive outcomes and continually improving
care.
