Agree with repair as the firs option. Erdinc is it mitral stenosis, regurg
or both? How big is the LA is she in sinus rhythm? Now if she has MR and you
could not repair it and decided to replace it; my advice to you is to save
the mitral apparatus if the LA is roomy as seen in MR with elongated thinned
out apparatus. The least you could do is to save the posterior leaflet.
