  With a 1.4 cm area, what is the diameter of the annulus on  TEE?  If it 
appears that you could get a 25 mm valve in, then it might be  reasonable to 
replace the valve.  Conversely, if he has a small annulus,  whatever you use to 
replace the valve is unlikely to have an EOA much larger  than with what you 
started.
