Since you are in the process of re-writing the routine orders it would not
be out of place to ask if your group uses the Portland Protocol for blood
sugar control in the post op period.

I am in the process of renewing the routine pre, post-op orders (and also
for transfer to the telemetry floor from the ICU... what we call transfer
orders).

These routine orders tend to be highly local. Still it may be useful if
members can e-mail me their sets for comparison. Those orders should be
available in the electronic form in most hospitals to copy and e-mail.
