LV distention due to mild AI after releasing the clamp is usually secondary to inadequate LV contraction in the first few minutes.Our protocol is:1.Drain most of the blood to the venous reservoir
2.GiveNTG if SVR>15 R units
3.Squeeze and massage the heart gently for few minutes.
