Hal,
His STS- or Euroscore-based mortality has to be immense. Even for a 60yr 
old. Does he still have viable myocardium? How badly dilated is he? 
Remember that a very wise man on this forum once said that though the 
elderly patient may look great and feel well, after surgery, they tend to 
act their age.
