Tom,
  Thanks for sharing your limited adverse experience with aortic  Biocor.  
I've never used it, and certainly wouldn't plan on doing as such  since I'm 
satisfied with the performance of Magna.  However, mitral Biocors  do offer the 
advantage of an uncommonly low profile.  This is important in  patients needing 
a tissue valve who have a narrow LVOT.  Supposedly,  Edwards will come out 
with a mitral Magna that is also low profile, but they  keep pushing back the 
date for its release.  Considering the horrible  experience you and I with 
Edwards' mitral Perimount, I'll probably wait a good  long while and see how others 
like it before considering  using it.
