Bob,
  Whether Dr. David is using SPV or not is almost moot.  I don't  think there 
are very many surgeons who would currently implant one having  knowledge of 
SPV literature the last few years.
  Volkmar and I went to see "Jersey Boys" (Dr. Subramanian gave use  
excellent seats in the orchestra).  As you probably know, the musical is  the story of 
Franki Valli and the Four Seasons.  It was truly  delightful.  In fact, I 
enjoyed it so much that I promptly downloaded all  of their hits from Itunes.
  I look forward to seeing you at next month's Society of Heart  Valve 
Disease.
