[HSF] HSF Get Together at the STS {Double OT}

I was a full tme academic all my life but I would happily pay for my own dinner and put something in a kitty for anyone? who has come upon hard times. This does mean that someone will have the tedious job of collecting the money. ( You know the ladies lunch routine; "but I didn't have dessert and you had two glasses of wine").

We can just have one talk if the attendees prefer, but I would rather tell
Medtronic to take a hike and do their own meeting with their own rules. I will
personally pay for dinner...everyones if necessary.

Ajit contacted me off line and told me that Medtronic would be willing to
pick up the tab if his talk was the only one. Though it would have been fun to

have multiple talks, I now think we should just let Ajit and Medtronic run
the show. Truthfully, multiple talks might get a little onerous. To me, the
aim of these meetings are to learn a little, but to mainly enjoy the
fellowship.

Hal
