I can't believe you knew this 10 years ago. Had we heard that then it could have saved the live of 2 of our patients in 2005. It is sad that Edwards pretends this problem does not exist. As you know a mitral magna is now available in Europe - i suspect once it comes to the USA the perimount will strangely disappear of the market and all of a sudden a low profile valve will be the gospel. I am not sure that mitroflow still has a mitral version on the market so may not apply to this setting.
