[HSF] Fwd: STS MEMBER ALERT: FDA Issues Statement on Use ofAprotinin (Trasylol)

How are the list´s surgeons dealing with that.
Are you still using it in re-do's, or have you proscribed it.
I mean, some people here are stratifying bleeding risk and renal function
before using aprotinin even in re-do's.
That´s bad. Aprotinin is a nice drug, when well indicated.
