Carmi, I have a rather similar case with end-stage lung disease. I was curious to know the life expectancy of the patient but told by the pulmonologists that they don't have such a data as for example for the1,3,5 year survival of those patients.As for your patient ,IMHO she is in terminal state and won't benefit from surgery. erdinc>
