[HSF] Hypothyroidism

 had a patient 2 weeks ago who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism (TSH >75) 6 weeks earlier (not related to amiodarone). He actually had myxoedema. He was started on thyroxine and I waited for 6 weeks until his TSH went down to 25. I performed CABG at this time without any problems. He went home 5 days after surgery but his left ventricular function was moderate to good.
