AW: [HSF] Minimally invasive mitral valve repair

Are the coronaries normal? If she needs bypasses or other concomitant
surgery, robotic surgery may not be possible.

I would question her decision for robotic MV repair. If she still insists,
then I must admit that it would be very smart to go to a surgeon who has
done a LOT of these robotically. My experience of a few MV repairs I have
seen using Da Vinci is not good at all.

Da Vinci is a user hostile robot, but skilled surgeons may be able to do a
good job despite it..

A 58 yo nurse who I know with symptomatic MR needs a repair. She insists on

"minimally invasive"/robotic. She is willing to travel to have the
procedure

done. Do you know who is doing a lot of these procedures with excellent

results?

Thank you,
