Tom,
  I know what you're saying.  All the more reason that it  behooves the 
prospective valve patient to thoroughly check into a surgeon's  valve caseload and 
results.  Lots of busy heart surgeons have little  experience in different 
types of cardiac procedures.  It's the reason I  wouldn't want an elective 
thoracoabdominal aneurysm done by my group.  That  lesion is much better treated by 
you and your team.
