Loss of a remarkable Surgeon, a landmark in the history of Thoracic Surgery,
though I have been too young to catch with him in person, yet I was lucky
enough to work with 3 consultants, each one has had served with him as
his Senior Registrar. I never noticed it untill somene draw my attention
that I do hold the dissecting scissors "Mitz" the way it is famous of Belsey
.. apparently catched that from his Students ... my teachers .. . His
remarkable famous Belsey-Mark IV procedure is surely a remarkable genuine
procedure , and very simple... probably here lies its secret. Nonetheless
... it surely pays very well especially in private

I know that many thoracic surgeons of today have not had the pleasure of
meeting him, I am one of them, yet we all can feel the great loss of such a
remarkable name.

Thank you Ed ... letting us remember among all the current dilemmas ...
