  I agree with your thoughts.  I once read a paper demonstrating  that the 
incidence of AAA rupture post-CABG is particularly high.  They  hypothesized 
that the increased collagen turnover and generalized inflammation  were the 
culprits.
  Happy Passover to all of my Jewish friends.  My children  particularly 
thank you since their school is out for the rest of the week after  tomorrow.
