Maybe there may well be no survival advantage, but then redo CABG is generally not done for survival - so how they could decide there is no indication for a procedure generally done to improve quality of life (relief of angina) escapes me. Unless there premise is that redo CABG is not effective in relief of angina due to stenosed vein grafts or progression of native disease. To demonstrate this they would need a mid-term follow-up in symptom status and quality of life which I suspect they don't have. Nevertheless I will try keep an open mind till I see the data.
