I do share your thinking about pericardial ring .... anyone having
experience with calcification of such pericardial ring ?? ... like in
posterior mitral pericardial annuloplasty ?? ....

Perhaps Prasanna's idea can provide a low cost alternative ! .. Gortex Strip
I mean .... Prasanna ... any data ??
