Ani, 
Let me clarify my position.
1.I have enough knowledge about the  basic principles of USG and doppler effect.
2. Through years of cardiac surgery I have aquired  a fair ability to   intrepret the 2 dimensional and M-mode echo.
3. What I meant was that using CW,PW doppler need some basic education and practice which I lack.
4.I am sure that if trained ,any cardiac surgeon will feel much easier than  any fellow cardiologists in interpreting echo data.
